Luxe Baby is located in a newly renovated, stand-alone boutique-style building on Metairie Road, offering a warm, private, upscale experience that feels nothing like a crowded strip mall clinic. Our setting gives families a more intimate, comfortable, and memorable environment, which is part of what makes the Luxe Baby experience feel truly special. We are conveniently located at 3109 Metairie Rd, Metairie, LA. (Adjacent to Moxie & Loft 18).

These are advanced, next-gen image enhancements that not all studios offer, while others upsell as an "add on" to their existing packages. Luxe Baby includes these sought after images as part of our "Big Reveal" offering. These images transform your standard 3D/4D ultrasound into crystal clear, lifelike keepsake portraits. 5K (or HD) Enhanced sharpens and cleans up the ultrasound image, Intrauterine Imaging creates a cinematic womb-style view of baby, and Ultra-Realistic Prediction Imaging uses your ultrasound image to render a highly detailed baby portrait-style image. These images are for bonding and keepsake purposes and are not medical photos.

At Luxe Baby, our clients leave with traditional printed ultrasound images, but we also provide a more modern and lasting way to keep and share their memories. The Luxe Baby thumb drive includes all of the colored in-session images, and post-processed renderings are delivered by email for easy viewing, sharing, and backup. Unlike printed images alone, digital files do not fade, crease, or get misplaced as easily. We also do not build our experience around a strict image count or a stopwatch. In fact, our clients often receive just as many, if not more, images than they would at other studios, but we do not believe in forcing images that are not truly great just to satisfy a prescribed photo count. Our focus is on taking the time needed to work with baby’s position, capture the best possible views, and create a more relaxed, personalized, premium experience from start to finish

While you can get an ultrasound at various points in your pregnancy, the best time to get the most ideal 3D images of your baby is typically between 28 and 33 weeks. 

Hydration is Key. Staying well-hydrated in the days leading up to your ultrasound appointment can significantly enhance the quality of your images. Proper hydration helps amniotic fluid act as a better conductor of sound waves, resulting in sharper more resolute picture. The baby's anatomical positioning on the day of your appointment is something we can't control. During the session, the Sonographer will use specific techniques to help encourage optimal positioning and improve the chances of capturing great images. However, there's always a chance the baby might be a little shy!

Yes, 3D ultrasound, like 2D ultrasound, is safe when performed by trained sonography practitioners. Luxe Baby employs only highly vetted, trained & certified registered diagnostic sonography professionals. 

Unlike X-ray imaging, there is no ionizing radiation exposure associated with ultrasound imaging.

The more the merrier! 

Due to the increased time required to thoroughly scan each baby and obtain clear images, there will be an additional flat rate of $75 to the selected package per baby in utero.

 For "The Big Reveal" ultrasound visit (twins or triplets) the best time for a visit is between 22 and 26 weeks, while there is still enough room in the womb to get a clear view of all the babies.
